Learn more about how we educate children in our schools
Plymouth Brethren schools are operated by Plymouth Brethren members as distinct from being operated by the Church. These schools are located throughout the world where members are found, and are similar to other Christian denominational schools. The emphasis on religion at school is minimal.
All Plymouth Brethren Schools aim at a high standard, employing professionally qualified non-Brethren teachers.
Each school is registered and accredited by relevant education authorities and the curriculum and teaching methods including the use of information technology. Boys and girls are treated equally, often obtaining results significantly above the average. Many students go on to achieve tertiary qualifications through Post-Secondary courses offered via registered training organisations.
Education is highly valued within Brethren families and children are characteristically happy, enthusiastic and engaged across the full curriculum.
