Landwirte auf der Eyre-Halbinsel in S\u00fcdaustralien haben dank einer wohlt\u00e4tigen Zusammenarbeit zwischen Freiwilligen der Plymouth Brethren Christian Church mit dem Rapid Relief Team (RRT), Save Our Sheep und dem Lions Club Hilfe erhalten, um die Last der D\u00fcrre zu lindern. Er folgt auf den Farmers Community Connect-Konvoi von RRT vor zwei Wochen, bei dem Freiwillige 1.562 gespendete Heuballen aus NSW per LKW an mehr als 200 Landwirte in Jamestown, SA, verteilten. <\/p>\n

Eine Gruppe von 84 Landwirten hat heute an der RRT-Veranstaltung „Farmers Community Connect“ auf der Pferderennbahn von Streaky Bay teilgenommen und eine warme Mahlzeit genossen, die von den Freiwilligen von RRT zubereitet wurde, bevor sie gespendete D\u00fcrrepellets mit nach Hause nahmen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

„Dank Suzie und dem Lions Club hat RRT mehr als 130 Tonnen gespendete D\u00fcrrepellets an die Bauern verteilt, und wir haben daf\u00fcr gesorgt, dass sie auch gut gef\u00fcttert wurden, mit Freiwilligen, die etwa 150 Mahlzeiten wie Speck und Eierrollen, Signature Burgers, von Baristas zubereiteten Kaffee und Donuts servierten.<\/h3>\n

RRT-Betriebsleiter Mick Dunn sagte, dass die Gr\u00fcnderin von Save Our Sheep, Suzie Kenny, hart daf\u00fcr gek\u00e4mpft hat, etwas Hilfe auf die Eyre-Halbinsel zu bringen, und RRT ihre Bem\u00fchungen unterst\u00fctzen wollte.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
