Vor kurzem begr\u00fc\u00dfte die Plymouth Brethren Christian Church einen australischen Journalisten in den Kirchens\u00e4len, in den H\u00e4usern und in den Gesch\u00e4ften unserer Mitglieder.<\/p>\n

In einigen Teilen der Medien wird die Plymouth Brethren Christian Church manchmal f\u00e4lschlicherweise als „die exklusiven Br\u00fcder“, als „religi\u00f6se Sekte“ oder sogar als „geheimer Kult“ bezeichnet – aber wir hofften, dass ein Journalist uns eine faire Chance geben w\u00fcrde. Keine Lobeshymne. Kein Verriss. Nur eine ausgewogene Einsch\u00e4tzung dessen, wer wir sind und wie wir sind.<\/p>\n

Einige unserer Mitglieder, darunter Dean und Nerolie Hales sowie Charles und Abby Hales, die S\u00f6hne und Schwiegert\u00f6chter des leitenden F\u00fchrers Bruce Hales, standen f\u00fcr weitreichende, ehrliche Gespr\u00e4che \u00fcber die Lebensweise der Br\u00fcder zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/p>\n

\u00dcber den Kirchenbesuch: „Der Wochenplan f\u00fcr die Br\u00fcder, der als „Versammlungskalender“ bekannt ist, ist auch nicht f\u00fcr einen Teilzeitchristen geeignet. Die Mitglieder beten an einem Montagabend in kleinen Unterteilungen. Die Predigten am Dienstag finden auf Zoom statt. Mittwochs ist in der Kirche… Am Donnerstag- und Freitagabend h\u00f6ren die Haushalte alte Aufnahmen von F\u00fchrungspersonen aus fr\u00fcheren Jahrzehnten. Samstag um 12 Uhr ist wieder in der Kirche.
