Voluntarios de la Iglesia Cristiana de los Hermanos de Plymouth con el Equipo de Ayuda R\u00e1pida (RRT) han apoyado a Pollie Pedal en Tasmania durante tres d\u00edas y 300 kil\u00f3metros, manteniendo a los participantes alimentados mientras viajaban para recaudar fondos para Diabetes Australia.<\/p>\n

El 18\u00ba ciclo anual de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos cont\u00f3 una vez m\u00e1s con el apoyo del viceprimer ministro de Tasmania, Guy Barnett, miembro del Parlamento, que fue uno de los que parti\u00f3 desde la Escuela Agr\u00edcola Hagley en Launceston el viernes 28 de febrero.<\/p>\n

\u201cPollie Pedal es un evento fant\u00e1stico que re\u00fane a los pol\u00edticos y sus electores con un objetivo: recaudar fondos vitales para los programas y la investigaci\u00f3n de la diabetes\u201d, dijo Tim.<\/p>\n

\u201cNuestros voluntarios sirvieron desayuno, almuerzo y cena a los ciclistas, as\u00ed como caf\u00e9 hecho por un barista, y estoy seguro de que apreciaron el impulso de energ\u00eda mientras abordaban 300 kil\u00f3metros del norte de Tasmania\u201d.<\/p>\n

Desde 2006, Pollie Pedal ha recaudado $850,000 para programas vitales de investigaci\u00f3n e investigaci\u00f3n sobre la diabetes.<\/p>\n

Como brazo caritativo de la Iglesia Cristiana de los Hermanos de Plymouth, RRT apoya a los trabajadores de primera l\u00ednea y a los servicios de emergencia proporcionando alimentos, donaciones y otros recursos, as\u00ed como organizando eventos para la comunidad.
