Plus de 90 agriculteurs ont re\u00e7u un soutien vital lors d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement Farmers Community Connect \u00e0 Rochester, dans l\u2019\u00c9tat de Victoria, organis\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre par l\u2019organisation caritative Rapid Relief Team (RRT).<\/strong><\/p>\n

RRT a fourni gratuitement des balles de foin \u00e0 92 agriculteurs de Rochester et des environs pour les aider \u00e0 se r\u00e9tablir et \u00e0 remettre leurs fermes en marche \u00e0 la suite d\u2019inondations d\u00e9vastatrices.<\/p>\n

Les membres de la communaut\u00e9 se sont rendus \u00e0 Farmers Community Connect pour un barbecue gratuit, du caf\u00e9 et des beignets Krispy Kreme fournis par RRT \u00e0 la r\u00e9serve r\u00e9cr\u00e9ative de Rochester.<\/p>\n

Au total, 1 150 balles de foin et 320 sacs de 25 kilogrammes de semences de ray-grass ont \u00e9t\u00e9 distribu\u00e9s aux agriculteurs.<\/p>\n

Mick Dunn, directeur des op\u00e9rations de RRT, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que Farmers Community Connect \u00e9tait un v\u00e9ritable moyen de montrer aux agriculteurs en difficult\u00e9 que la communaut\u00e9 se soucie d\u2019eux et veut donner un coup de main.<\/p>\n

\u00ab  Les agriculteurs ont eu du mal au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es alors qu\u2019ils luttaient contre une s\u00e9cheresse de longue date, des feux de brousse et maintenant \u00e0 l\u2019autre extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 extr\u00eame, des inondations  \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Dunn.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous savons qu\u2019il peut s\u2019\u00e9couler un certain temps avant de se remettre compl\u00e8tement des effets de ces catastrophes, c\u2019est pourquoi nous ne fournissons pas seulement un soutien financier, mais aussi un soutien \u00e9motionnel en offrant aux agriculteurs une journ\u00e9e de bien-\u00eatre avec un d\u00e9jeuner barbecue gratuit, un caf\u00e9 de barista et la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019entrer en contact avec les services de soutien locaux et leurs amis.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Des moments comme celui-ci d\u00e9montrent vraiment l\u2019importance de rester connect\u00e9. Nous avons constat\u00e9 que dans ces environnements communautaires partag\u00e9s et amicaux, les agriculteurs se sentent plus \u00e0 l\u2019aise pour parler \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents fournisseurs de services de soutien ou pour en savoir plus sur l\u2019offre disponible.<\/p>\n
