Our network

We are often asked about the history of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. The Church’s early days started about 200 years ago, when one of the most influential Protestant thinkers, John Nelson Derby, broke away from the Church of England. This was the start of the Plymouth Brethren movement, and today, we are a community of over 55,000 members who live, work and worship around the world.
