Remembrance Day

On Remembrance Day, the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church pays tribute to the immense sacrifices made by many in the line of conflict. At this time, we think of all whose courage and bravery protected our freedom, and the values of care and compassion which our communities live by today.

Now 106 years on since the guns fell silent across Europe, we also reflect on the contributions made by members of our Church who served in both World Wars.

In line with our Christian beliefs, members of our Church served alongside soldiers on the front lines to help and rescue the wounded as non-combatants. Their extraordinary bravery was recognised with awards for valour in service, including the Military Cross in WW1.

We honour and remember them and all who have served, today and always.

This article made, or otherwise repeated, deeply disturbing […]
